Totally Awesome Tutu

I made my daughter this fabric tutu and LOOOVE IT and she does too. I mad it pink and brown with matching hair bows ( of course). I think that is the kind of tutu I am going to make her for now on... I like that she can wear it often and it won't get all ragitty ( not sure how to spell this) like the ones with the tulles.

Halloween Costumes

 Our Prince and Princess.
Made half of Prince A's costume, the sash which says "Prince Alex" and cape. I used an old vampire cape from last year and added the feather boa to make it prince worthy. He is actually ready his church suit. I got the crown at the Halloween store( didn't have time to make him one), it was made for grown up but I stuffed up and added two hair clip to the side and clip it on his hair. I really love how their costume turned out and glad I did not get them one off the rack.
I am sporting a handmade grown up big girl tutu made with four different color...I LOVE IT. See, even big girl can rock a tutu:)

Halloween Tutu

Made this tutu for a special little girl and I really like how it turned out...I add a feather boa to the waist to give a personal touch and also a few glow in the dark spider to complete the look!

Anyone want to help me make a pillow case dress???

American Sweetheart

Finally done with Princess G.'s 4th of July outfit...I think, she looks really beautiful in it but now I need to make my son a shirt or something. I got the little swimsuit at Walmart for $10 and I made the rest, I am thinking she is going to need a little flip flop to match, so we'll see if I can find one her size to match ( I am going to have to pretty it up of course).
We went out to take some pictures( which I am also addicted too) and took a ton...I had a really hard time picking out which one to put up, sooo I put my favorite...Enjoy all the pics, hahaha!
She is just too darn adorable to pick just one or two pictures of her...Maybe because she is my baby girl and I think she is the cutest little thing ever?!

I mean....Seriously!

She was too busy wondering around to stay still for pictures.

We are going to celebrate 4th of July IN STYLE this year, whoohoo!

PS. looking for some guess posts for the next two weeks, so let me know is that something you will be interested in, svintonphotography(at)gmail(dot)...Thank you!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, EVERYONE :)

Getting Ready for Haitian Flag's Day !!!!

Since my kids are half Haitian, I decided this year to start teaching them about my country and our culture, after all they need to know where their mommy come from. To celebrate, I started by making a tutu and matching hair bows, of course...I still have to celebrate in style, right?! Not like you did not see that coming, hehehe! I even make my own little bottle cap images using our flag.
Even though, we can't make it to Miami for the festival, we will still have our small little family par-tay!!!!

Now, I just need to find something for Prince A for this special day.
