What I Made Last Night

Made the tie for my son for Autism Awareness Month
I love this little outfit and the color... My fist time using a pattern ( I got confuse half way and continue without). It is a little bit but not very noticable and she can wear it for a while♥

It was raining/ snowing outside so the only decent pictures I was able to get of her wearing it was while she was watching TV, he he he!

Valentine's Goodies

So I finally learn how to make a skirt that uses a functional button on the back ( no pic of the button because the stitches are horrible and not very straight). The first skirt was suppose to be a dress but let just say, after I spent 1 1/2 trying to figure out the pattern and kept getting more confusing then when I started, I decided to just do the skirt. I really like how it turned out and plus my little princess really like it... I do believe that some day, I will be able to make fancier stuffs with no problem... I think that I am getting much better, and will keep learning and practicing some more

And of course, some hair accessories

What do you guys think???

A Sunday Outfit

I believe that I am totally kicking my sewing machine butt by now, ha ha ha!!!...  No bragging or anything...OK...Maybe a little bit.,but I think I am getting much better and with more practice I will be able to make my daughter fancier stuff. I am still unable to follow a pattern so most of what I make are my own made up pattern as I go along. Therefor, this is a total learning process and my hardest time is figure out the right measurement because one forgot to get it before baby girl went to bed.

All her church dresses are 18 months which means that they are way too short now, so I figure instead of buying more ( cost me $24-30 a dress) I will make her one ... Between me and her grandma, she will have ton of church dresses and the good side is NO ONE ELSE has one too and I get to practice my sewing.
So here is what I made her last night, did not take very long. I started at 7 and was done before 11 PM. I decided to make the top a little simple because the skirt has a lot of shiny stuff on it .

Come back later to see what I am making next.

Tie,Skirt and...why not...a little tote bag too.

On Thursday night ( the time I can get anything done) I made the kiddos some matching tie, skirt and a little tote bag ( she got to have something to carry her big eyes puppies). I went to Hobby Lobby and got some cute matching fabrics and got to work. I must say, I really like how they turned out and IN LOVE WITH THE COLOR...Don't want to toot my own horn but, toot toot...They look awesome and even better on the kids.A little more practice and I will be ready to make Princess G her cheerleading outfit, I just need to learn to make top which I will be working on next.

I REALLY REALLY LOVE  how the skirt turned out. I am starting to get better at making up my own pattern and also that is a really easy thing to do for me, other than trying to understand a pattern that looks like is writing in a  language I don't understand.
.
As always here are the cutie proudly sporting their new outfit made specially for them :)

Doesn't they look adorable?!

Don't you think they look cute together?!

I am glad to finally able to make them matching stuff to wear :)
